Youth

Flanders has a strong tradition of youth associations and youth centres where volunteers and youngsters organise their own leisure activities. These include youth associations such as Scouts, Chiro, youth centres, etc.

Some youth initiatives are supported or arranged by the municipal Youth Services department. They organise activities of interest to children and young people: space to play, youth information, youth work, parties, etc. allowing children to play together. 

Visit the Youth Services department for all information on local youth initiatives and/or clubs.
